WinMOD-SIMLINE Libraries
Real conveyor systems are virtualised with the WinMOD-SIMLINE libraries. Parameterisable components for conveyor technology, sensors and conveyed goods enable realistic WinMOD-SIMLINE real-time material flow simulation.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library BASIC for basic elements
The BASIC library provides functional elements such as source, sink, various sensors and scanners, as well as many visual design elements such as equipment labelling, fences, frames, etc. This library is part of the WinMOD-SIMLINE system as standard and is supplied together with it.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library CCS for container conveyor technology
The WinMOD-SIMLINE library container conveying system (CCS) is used to create sorting and picking systems for containers, cartons and other small goods. In addition to the classic roller conveyors and transfer units, there are the typical curved roller conveyors, belt curves and accumulation roller conveyors. All elements are fully parameterisable. In addition to a number of typical container and carton transport goods, customised objects ranging from bottles and packing trays to machine components can also be integrated. In short, everything that can be sorted, picked and packed. Real conveyor systems can be created with absolute precision in WinMOD-SIMLINE. Not only the real dimensions are correct, but also the mechanical interlocking and therefore the exact number of electrical components required.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library PCS for pallet conveyor technology
The WinMOD-SIMLINE Pallet Conveyor System (PCS) library contains all the elements required to generate sorting, picking and palletising systems as functional WinMOD-SIMLINE systems. The elements range from simple roller conveyors and corner transfer combinations to various empty pallet dispensers and are all fully parameterisable. For palletising systems, a combination with the WinMOD-SIMLINE robotics libraries is possible. Real conveyor systems can thus be created with absolute precision in WinMOD-SIMLINE. Not only are the real dimensions correct, but also the mechanical interlocks and therefore the exact number of electrical components required. An extensive number of typical transport goods is also included.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library SKID for SKID conveyor technology
The WinMOD-SIMLINE library SKID conveyor technology (SKID) is specially designed for the automotive industry and enables all areas, from connecting conveyor technology in body construction to painting lines to complex MAT lines and sorting storage systems, to be created as a WinMOD-SIMLINE system. The library includes simple roller conveyors, transfer unit combinations, link conveyors, empty SKID dispensers and linear units with handling functions. All elements can be fully parameterised and combined. From the first body shell to the finished car, all conveyor processes and process transitions can be realised in WinMOD-SIMLINE. An extensive number of typical SKID modules and standard car bodies enables the immediate start of a WinMOD-SIMLINE system without having to wait for 3D CAD data. If necessary, however, customised CAD-based SKID modules can be integrated at any time. This ensures geometrically accurate sensor acquisition, especially for MAT systems.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library STORE for storage systems
The WinMOD-SIMLINE library storage systems (STORE) makes it possible to generate automated warehouses completely as WinMOD-SIMLINE systems. The routes of the storage and retrieval machines are parameterised via floor rail elements such as straight lines, curves and switches. Standard stacker cranes can be customised to the respective real stacker crane, in particular the rail and code tape readers. In addition, there are various load handling devices for the possible lifting and gripping mechanisms. The racks themselves are also created using parameterisable elements with frame size, number of storage levels and storage locations.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library EMS for electrified monorail system
The WinMOD-SIMLINE library electric monorail system (EMS) contains all the necessary elements to generate a functional WinMOD-SIMLINE system for a given rail layout. Rails, curves, various switch types as well as rail lifts and traversing modules are parameterised constructively and functionally for this purpose. The WinMOD-SIMLINE connection point system also makes it possible to create complicated track layouts quickly and easily, whether with inclines, changes of level or alternating curves. This allows an initial validation of the track layout in the WinMOD-SIMLINE 3D environment.
The WinMOD-SIMLINE library contains standard EMS vehicles for light-load and heavy-load applications. These contain, for example, the typical combinations of lifting and swivelling frames in order to simulate the processes in assembly lines or the transfer to other conveyor sections as in the real process. Manufacturer-specific EMS vehicles can be individually virtualised for this purpose. CAD-based design elements, components or car bodies can of course also be integrated. WinMOD-SIMLINE sensors for vehicle and component detection and parameterisable rail and code band communication make it possible to simulate any real EMS system type.
WinMOD-SIMLINE library EFS for electric floor track
The WinMOD-SIMLINE library Electric Floor Track (EBB) contains all the necessary elements to generate specified track layouts as a WinMOD-SIMLINE system. The raised floor rails with straights, curves and switches are parameterised in terms of design and function. Standard and manufacturer-specific vehicles can be virtualised individually. The classic WinMOD-SIMLINE conveyor technology can then be used to install the necessary “on-board“ technology such as roller or chain conveyors and sensors on the vehicles. The rail and code band communication makes it possible to simulate any real EBB system type.
WinMOD-SIMLINE Library AP for automotive components
The AP library contains elements such as side panels, doors, front flaps, etc. for the automotive industry.
WinMOD-SIMLINE Library FANUC
The WinMOD-SIMLINE robot libraries ABB, KUKA and Fanuc contain many different robot models corresponding to the real models. The 6-axis articulated arm robots form the basis, but palletisers with compensating mechanisms or small robots for pick-to-place of small parts are also available. The gripping and handling devices on the robot head can again be implemented using parameterisable elements from the robot environment libraries. The fixtures can be enriched with customised 3D CAD data at any time. The piece good detection is again realised with the WinMOD-SIMLINE sensors.
